The nabokov Arts Club is looking for unique and exciting acts for its new event at Battersea Arts Centre on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October 2011. The Arts Club will be taking over the whole of BAC on both nights with its trademark mix of live arts and partying that has seen packed nights in East London for the past 4 years, as well as coverage in both The Guardian and The Independent.
What we want:
We’re looking for comedians, poets, musicians, sketch groups, dancers, cabaret acts, circus performers – or anything else that you think might tickle our fancy. As the weekend is going to be a Halloween special, we’re especially interested in anything spooky, but it’s far from essential. You’ll need to be available for an audition (details below), a tech slot on Friday 28th and then your performance times on the evenings of Friday 28th and Saturday 29th. Please note that this is not an open audition for individual actors.
What we can offer you:
We’re interested in finding new talent for the variety of events that we produce. For this initial event we will not be offering a fee to performers who are selected through the audition process, but we are able to offer you the chance to perform at a unique event at a prestigious venue and to a large audience, as well as artistic support and advice. We hope that this could be the start of new and fruitful relationships with artists from across the spectrum.
